Today Luis started Kindergarten. Luis is now 5 years old and in great health.

This is the website of Luis Thomas Gallant. Luis was born on June 14th, 2001 at 24 weeks gestation. Luis was 1.42 lbs and was 11 7/8 inches long making him a micro preemie. After 4 months in the hospital and 6 months home on oxygen, Luis has grown up a healthy active child. Weight: 23 lbs Height: 32 inches Wednesday, June 4th, 2003Nan (my mother) came to see Luis for the first time. Mom (Margie) is getting a little jealous because Luis is up with her all the time. Now you see how Daddy feels Mommy! Monday, June 2nd, 2003Luis is almost 2. Walking, saying lots or words and is all around pretty healthy. Tuesday, June 18th, 2002Weight: 16 lbs 10 oz Height: 25 1/2 Inches Luis does not have to return to Pulmonology. The doctor says he is doing great. Sunday, June 16th, 2002HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUIS!!! Luis is one year old today. Luis also started to crawl, or at least something that finally resembles actual crawling. Also today luis had his first dip in the pool. He loved it. I guess this is the first in a lifelong love for swimming. Also born today is Luis, Luis' teddy bear. Luis was created by Mom, Dad and Sister at Build-a-Bear. Thursday, February 14th, 2002Weight: 13lbs 10oz Length: 24" Luis is doing so well he was not approved for the special medical daycare anymore. His grandmother is coming up from Puerto Rico to take care of him for a while so he doesn't have to go to regular daycare yet. He is still susceptible to RSV. Monday, January 28th, 2002Weight: 12lbs 11oz Luis is still a little guy. A little guy with big lungs. He could wake the dead. And every night he wakes the almost dead (aka dad and mom). |
